Had a wonderful day on Sunday when we had close friends and family around to celebrate my birthday and the launch of The Ascent of Isaac Steward. Emma, made a cake with the book cover in icing!
For days before we were a bit worried having 20 adults and kids around as it kept raining ( it's stressful in the UK throwing a BBQ ! ) and I must admit I checked the forecast every day the week leading up to Sunday but in the end the sun came out and it was a great success.
Having a dream come true and sharing the absolute joy of that with everyone made it a day I will never forget! Thanks to everyone that came.
